Is the Power Meter compliant to the California IoT initiative?

Yes, it complies with the California IoT initiative. 

The Setra Power Meter has an on-board IP address. As such, it must comply with the new California security requirements stated in California IoT Law -SB327. 

Upon initial power of the unit, the user must enter a password.
