How many transducers can be tied to the same reference line?

Ideally, each transducer should have its own reference line. 

If there are a few rooms off an ante room, it may be okay to share the same reference line. 

Though if a problem should arise all transducers attached to that reference line could be severely affected. It will also make it harder to determine where the problem is and when it occurred.
